Rohan Watts is an Adelaide-based actor, singer, guitarist, entertainer and producer with more than two decades of professional performance behind him. He's been called one of the most likeable stage personalities in Adelaide.
He's not sure that's true, but he does like the sound of it.
Rohan performs regularly across corporate events, wineries, breweries, festivals and live music venues - solo, as bandleader, and as part of several touring show productions. He knows how to read a room, and has the experience to back it up.
He fronts a number of live music projects: Have You Heard The News? The Music of Huey Lewis, an 80s tribute production built for venues and festivals; It Takes Two! Legendary Duets Live!, a duets show co-produced and performed with his wife and collaborator Melanie Smith; The Glory Jays, an Adelaide rock covers band drawing from the triple j era of the 90s and early 2000s.
Beyond the stage, Rohan is an experienced audio engineer, tour manager and producer, with credits across theatre, live music and events. He is also an award-winning actor with roles spanning musicals, straight plays and operettas.
He has worked as an MC across a wide range of events and productions, and regularly works as a touring performer with iconic Australian children's character Humphrey B. Bear. That breadth of experience tends to show up in the work.
